It’s been a while since I could see the Lord’s Canvas, not due to no canvas but more due to being overwhelmed with work related issues. Today I had the most amazing experience though. It was rather exciting to go with our young kids on a balloon safari in Serengeti. I got rather nervous when, for take off, we had to lie down in the basket that was sleeping on it’s side. After buckling up and several minutes of loud noise of the hot air blower, the basket slowly being pulled straight, a sweeping balloon, we still sitting inside the basket, the pilot told us we could now stand up. I slowly stood up on my shaky legs with our children and my husband beside me and when I could look over the edge of the basket, I got soaked up in the most amazing sight: Serengeti was bathing in the most beautiful golden light I’ve ever seen…the Lord’s Canvas was all around us!
